Messolonghi fleur de sel 150g
Artius Messolonghi fleur de sel is naturally produced when sea water evaporates and is hand harvested from the top layer of the salt pan in the Greek region of Messolonghi.
This area is environmentally protected by the Ramsar treaty.
There is no further processing after harvest. The salt is suitable for finishing on various dishes, including salads, potatoes, fish and meats.

Fleur de Sel refers to the type of salt that forms as a thin, delicate crust on the surface of seawater as it evaporates. It's name roughly translates as "flower of the sea" and it is perfect for adding to dishes right before serving.
Ancient Greeks would call it "Anthos Alatos". Anthos Alatos, or Fleur de sel gets its unique structure and characteristic soft taste from its high mineral content (calcium and magnesium).
